CHILD HEALTH MONTH COALITION

2008 Educational Materials Packet

In recognition of October as Child Health Month, the New Hampshire Child Health Month Coalition offers its Year 2008 packet of handouts.  We believe that providing safety, health and prevention information to those who work with children and families is beneficial and essential.

We encourage you to copy, post and/or distribute the attached factsheets.  Some are geared towards parents and caregivers, while others are directed towards children or adolescents.  We recommend that you review the information and choose the ones that are appropriate for your particular audience.  We provide these materials on white paper so they will copy well.  When photocopying, however, you may get more attention if you use colored paper.

You can find a list and electronic versions of most of the Child Health Month handouts developed over the years on the Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center web site, call the Injury Prevention Center at 603-653-8360 for reprints.

We are trying to make these sheets available in Spanish and other languages when possible. Those that have been translated are marked on the website. Please call the Injury Prevention Center if you have questions.

Please let us know how you used these materials by returning the Evaluation Form. Those completing the evaluation by November 30, 2008 will be entered into a drawing to win a $100 gift of your choosing for your organization.
